Bec’s Bump

This is my wonderful wife, Bec (she always gets really shy when I turn the camera on her).
As I mentioned in the first 2 Minute Movie, Bec is pregnant! Very exciting times. But, despite being a photographer, I hadn't actually taken any photos of the bump that is steadily getting bigger and bigger (shame on me!). So tonight I thought I should start documenting it, and here are the results!

Since the last Bec's Bump blog we've had the 20 week scan and, I'm glad to report, we seem to have a very healthy baby.
Today was the first day of the year that really felt like Spring might have arrived and so I thought I'd take advantage and take some Bump shots out in the garden!
So what do you think - is our baby growing?!

Bec’s Bump - Almost There!

It's been quite a while since I posted a Bec's Bump update, and in that time the bump has been growing!

I'm assuming/hoping that this will be the last Bec's Bump as Bec is due this week, and I can't see how Bump can get any bigger! So from next week there should be a new section of the Notebook - baby pictures! Bec, Dan and I are all really excited about this new addition to our family. Life is going to change (for the better I'm sure!) and we'll all be a lot busier - but I'll still be making time to update the Notebook frequently till you're all bored with photos of the new Watson Jr!

Samantha & Michael’s Wedding, Edinburgh

Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Samantha & Michael's wedding. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Musselbrough, Edinburgh, a beautiful old Catholic church. The couple were supported by a large crowd, including their wee boy, Lennon. Babies always provide wonderful pictures at weddings!

The reception was then at Heriot-Watt University which has beautiful grounds perfect for wedding photography and, rare for a Scottish summer wedding, the rain held off!
